9. All whitening kits are the same
Similar to the first busted myth, whitening kits also differ from one another. It is not a matter of who made the product. It is all about being able to meet your dental needs in the correct manner. An over the counter whitening kit does not have this feature as compared to the customized kit that is given by your own dentist. Again, it is better to consult your dentist before you try any products that can potentially harm your dental health.
