8. Deadlift
The deadlift will not only strengthen your legs and core, but it will also teach you how to lift heavy objects from the floor. You can perform this exercise with a bar, dumbbells or kettlebells on the floor in front of your toes. Position your feet wider than the hip distance and gently bend your knees to reach for the item. Slowly straighten legs as you bring the item in front of your upper thighs.
