3. Diabetes
A similar study done at Ohio State University, which was mentioned above, confirmed the safflower oil benefits when it comes to lowering blood sugar level. A group of obese women with type 2 diabetes were tested, consuming roughly 1 2/3 teaspoons of safflower oil daily for 16 weeks. The results showed significant effects in lowering the blood sugar levels of the participants – all without making any changes in lifestyle or dietary habits.
