Safflower oil contains high amounts of polyunsaturated fatty acid, a type of “good” fat that helps reduce the cholesterol level in your blood and lowers your risk of developing heart problems. Polyunsaturated fats contain omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, both of which play a major role in many different biological functions, which include lowering of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) or bad cholesterol.
